Analysis On U.S. Policy-"the Great Middle East Initiative"

"The Greater Middle East Initiative" was proposed formally in 2004.We can say that the strategy and policies for the Middle East epitomizes the threat and benefit that America faces in the Islam world and the general strategy and policies for the whole world.In recent years, domestic scholar has got many results about the problem in Middle East. They mainly concentrate on the Middle East's politics, economy, religion, and there is relatively small amount of the monograph and the journal article about this part. This paper integrate with the politics, the international politics, the sociology and the ethnology angle, try to make the Middle East's democratization advancement of the postwar more clearly, grasp the meanings and standard of the American democracy, analyze the democratic strategic implementation, seek material the influence and the aim through study the background and main content of "The Greater Middle East Initiative" systematically. Accordingly to offer the valuable materials for studying the problem in Middle East and the democracy output strategy and so on for reference in the future.Due to the traditional cultural of the "GME", it's hard to change the political system forms and life style in a short-term. As a kind of medium and long-term democratized strategy, it's prospect will be gloomy without harmonious bilateral, multilateral relational and the constant environment as the safeguard. We have to treat them reasonably and objectively, only this way can we effectively alleviate and eliminate the local anti-American sentiment, and create a good external environment for its strategic implementation and the economical development.
