A Research On The Regulations Of Environmental Information Disclosure

As the guaranty of the public's participation in the environmental affairs, the system of environmental information disclosure is the basic regulations to meet the public's demand to know the environmental situation. It is widely used in western countries because of the low cost and high efficiency. With a series of sever environmental accidents happen, the public has an increasing demand to achieve the right to know the environmental situations, which makes it necessary to practice the environmental information disclosure system in China; however, this kind of system is neglected and the research on it also falls behind, because of which it is necessary to perfect the system of environmental information disclosure system on the base of absorbing the successful experiences abroad.The dissertation discusses the question how to perfect this system in China by using classification, comparison, value analysis and positive analysis from the following three aspects: the brief description of the system of environmental information disclosure, the present situation of this system abroad and at home and the measures to make this system perfect. The purpose of doing so is that it will help to analyse the demerits of Chinese environmental information disclosure, use the experience of other countries for reference, and make the Chinese system perfect.The body of this dissertation is divided into three parts:The first part is the brief introduction of environmental information disclosure system. It presents the definition of the system, its importance and its characteristics as well as its historical development.The second is the discussion about the present situation of this system abroad and at home.
