The relations among great powers are the kernel of international relations and the main component and impulse of the setup of the world. The structure adjustment of the relations among great powers makes the multi-polarization further developed and lays the foundation for evolving the setup of the world in the future. Therefore, the thorough study of them has important theoretical value and practical significance.This thesis organizes, researches and analyzes by the numbers the course of the adjustment, major characteristics, basic motivations, influences on international society, chief existing problems and future development trend of the major powers relations and briefly researches into the tactics of repartee of China.Basing on the reviewing of the course of adjustment of the relations among great powers after the Cold War, it emphasizes the major characteristics and the basic trend of them, which are the main work of this thesis. During the Cold War, the relations among great powers were characteristic of confrontation between America and the Soviet Union and of conflict between the two groups. After the Cold War however, it is developing from two control centers to relatively incompact multi-polarization. Realistic national interests become basic start of disposing correlations among great powers.
