In 16th whole meeting CCP pointed out explicitly: "we must persist in exploring and abiding by the law of socialist construction and human social development according to the reality of china, and lead the socialist cause with the scientific idea, system and method." The essence of the political legitimacy is based on the approval and support of people to the ruler's control. Strengthen the political legitimacy of the party can govern permanently, which is the regulation of being in office of CCP. Now our country is in the period of social transformation, social conflicts relatively concentrated political legitimacy of our party. Under this situation, it's necessary for the party to have a stable political legitimacy in order that people can achieve the comfortable life comprehensively with the lead of our party to have a long-term leadership. Nowadays, the party should hold the important thought of "three representatives" as the idea of being at the helm of state and reinforce the leadership of maxims, which result in enhancing the foundation of the ideology of the party. The party must consider the development to be the first step of being in power and the country's prosperity, further the construction of the democratic and the legal system, and strengthen the foundation of the party's ruling achievement. The party's work style is serious problem concerning with the party's survival, at present, the party must punish corruption, improve the relation between the party and people and heighten the base of public opinions to party. The political legitimacy is always accompanying with party throughout the cause of being in office, so we should regard the construction of the political legitimacy of the party as a long-term work.
