Study On Civil Liability Of Insider Trading

2005 Amended Security Law of the People's Republic of China, finally, prescribes civil liability of insider trading definitely. But it is a general provision, not a detailed provision. It is impossible for investors to use the provision to compensate their damages caused by insider trading. Therefore, it is imperative to further establish and perfect the legislation of specific civil liability systems of insider trading. On the basis of using the legislation experiences and research achievements on civil liability of insider trading in foreign countries for reference, the dissertation, utilizing study methods of comparative analysis and case analysis, discusses many law problems on civil liability of insider trading, puts forward the feasible suggestions to perfect civil liability of insider trading in China.
