The structure of the constitution is a topic on which research is not adequate in the academic circles. This article analyzes in detail the concept of this topic, the relationship between it and the aims and functions of the constitution, the basic form factors and content factors of constitution and the importance and functions of every factor in the form structure and content structure of the constitution in addition to the try research on its improvement. The views of the article mainly include the following: the structure of the constitution includes the form and content structures of written and unwritten constitution; the research on this topic should devote to two basic questions, that is, what basic factors constitute constitution in the contents and forms and the importance and functions of every factors; whether the structure is suitable or not depends on the standard of whether it can protect the human rights to the maximum limit; whether the structure is suitable will make a difference in the functions; the suitable structure of the constitution should pay more attention to the state power and the fundamental rights of citizens, in addition, the constitution code is the principal form and constitutional laws are the additional ones.
