| In recent years, traditional knowledge manifests huge worthiness in economy, science and commercial aspects, with modern technology improvement. Traditional knowledge's value is strengthen continually, it rises complex issues in ethic, legal and public policy, and brings a wide attention in international society. In modern times, it happens that using traditional knowledge illegal, so, some nations and communities that hold a great deal of traditional knowledge claim utilizing law to protect it. However, most of traditional knowledge has their own characteristics, they had long years, and they were created by collective and spread by oral. Therefore, it is hard to protect by modern intellectual property right. To protect traditional knowledge better, international organizations open out abroad discussion and put up efficiency harmony. It depends on the whole traditional knowledge to realize, but not one person or one country.The thesis is divided into four chapters: chapter I introduces the background of international harmony in traditional knowledge protection ; chapter II discusses the rise of international harmony in traditional knowledge protection, introduces some related international organizations'contributions, and analysis their differences in international harmony of traditional knowledge protection and the ways that resolve these differences ; chapter III analysis the main problems that in international harmony of traditional knowledge protection are facing, discusses the aims and methods that how to protect traditional knowledge, so, established a good base for traditional knowledge protection; chapter IV expands China's countermeasures in international harmony of traditional knowledge protection , combining the situation of China. We should adopt which means to both protect our own precious traditional knowledge, and contribute our strength to international society in international harmony of traditional knowledge protection.
