While effectiveness is what political education depends on o meet the challenge of the time, acceptability is the precondition and basis of effectiveness. Researches on acceptability weigh heavily both theoretically and practically.The thesis takes acceptability as its central topic. Acceptability identifies political education's character of being acceptable. Ideas if politics and morality can find their embodiment in educatees only when these ideas are accepted. Political education with a high acceptability will have stronger influence on educatees. Acceptability reflects to what extent that political education agrees with the rules of accepting. The thesis intends to give ideas on how to design highly acceptable political education. It is composed of four parts:Part one begins with a review of the previous researches on accepting and the makes a definition of acceptability on its basis.Part two is about all the psychological elements that influence acceptability.Part three tells about the enlightenment that psychological theory gives to acceptability.Part four puts forward advices on how to optimize all the political education elements to enhance acceptability.The use of psychological tools is the main research method of the thesis. Different from the previous researches which rely chiefly on pedagogy, the thesis tries to put psychological theory into practical use of political education.
