Thanks to the increasingly rapid advancement of Internet technology, on-line shopping has been undergoing fast development at the information age. Furthermore, Internet is characterized as digital, non-paper, high-tech and effective circumstances, which give birth to considerable differences between on-line shopping and traditional off-line shopping. This is why some new legal problems arise inevitably when the theory of standard contract clauses applies to on-line shopping. Under such circumstances, researches are to be done on how to determine whether standard contract clauses have been incorporated into contract for on-line shopping, including its interpretation, legality and lawful governance. Therefore, this dissertation, drawing on the method of comparison and the theory of weighing interests, sheds light on the resolution to the said problems in five logical chapters as follows.In Chapter One, some fundamental concepts regarding standard contract clauses for on-line shopping are clarified. As is known, concepts, the basic points for logical reasoning, are the theoretic premises as well as foothold for the study of this topic this dissertation focuses on. So, this Chapter hinges on key concepts such as On-line Shopping and Standard Contract Clauses, plus description and analyses of status quo for the development of on-line shopping and the major legal problems arising when standard contract clauses apply to on-line shopping, paving the way for further analyses.Chapter Two concentrates on terms and conditions for incorporating standard contract clauses into contract for on-line shopping, which include the following factors, first, on-line business informs buyers reasonably of standard contract clauses;...
