New-Corporatism was popular in western countries, especially in North-European capitalist countries in 1970s as a mode of dealing with relations among state, society and interest organizations, and is a major sect of modern western politics different from state-centralism and society-centralism in State-Society relationship problem. The research on New-Corporatism began in 1960s, and was mainly done in the middle and late 1970s and early 1980s. There is not much research about it in our country at the moment.Firstly, the translated name, conception, taxonomy and historical sources of Corporatism are theoretically studied in this paper, and the prominently characteristics of New-Corporatism are introduced in general. Secondly, the theory of interest intermediation of New-Corporatism is separately discussed in terms of basic values, theoretical traits and public-policy making. And then, the author discusses New-Corporatism as an institutional arrangement. Thirdly, the practice of interest intermediation theory of New-Corporatism in Scandinavians such as Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Austria, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spanish and Holland, etc. — including interest representative mechanism, interest mediation mechanism and policy implementing mechanism — is elaborated from aspect the practice of modern welfare countries . Finally, the author made a simple inquiry into the welfare system and job-getting policy of New Corporatism and how it handles the relation between state and society. Is New Corporatism useful to keep a stable society, promote economy progress and construct a harmonious society in our country? It's tentatively expounded in this paper too.New-Corporatism, with a cardinal characteristic of emphasizing cooperation between classes and advocating consultations and compromises, can be used for reference to our country's social stability and reconciliation. Not only can New-Corporatism provide legitimate channels to interest expression, but also it can make full use of interest groups to implement policy, bridge cooperation between state and society, efficiently rectify forces to accelerate economy development and promote society progress.
