Comment On Construction Of The Limited Government Of China

The traditional mode of government management hasn't been accustomed to the development of society. With the further reformation of China's economical system, the political system should also be adjusted subsequently. The gradual improvement of market system, rapid development of civil society, the standard requestment of international treaty and agreement, and the enhancement of the society's ability of self-governance need the changes of traditional mode of administrative system in order to meet the objective demand of the social development. Therefore to construct the limited government with Chinese feature is the best option.Starting from the West, the reformation of administrative management system aims to rebuild government image and construct limited government, and has swept all over the globe. Under such influence, China has made profitable attempts to build limited government in both theoretical research and the practice of administrative reformation in the process of the reformation of political system. Although there existing difficulties and obstacles in this process, constructing limited government has become a tendency, the basic requirement for the construction of a harmonious socialist society, and the value orientation of long-term strategy of China's political system reformation.On the basis of expounding the mode of government management, this thesis defines the connotation of limited government and discusses in detail the general features and the sinicized features of limited government, and explores the realistic drive and the historical necessity of China's construction of limited government.On the theoretical basis of foreign research theories and achievements and the beneficial reformation experience of limited government and the "laissez-faire" of Lao Tzu, this thesis analyses the construction of limited government with Chinese characteristics in combination of the practical construction situations of Chinese socialist harmonious society. This thesis also offers constructive suggestions to the current construction of China's limited government.This thesis is composed of four parts. The first two parts elaborates on the definition, connotation, the classical theory, current research situation, and the practical situation of the limited government; the third part analyses the drive of China's construction of limited government; the last part analyses the optional ways of China's construction of limited government. The last three parts compose the major body of this thesis.
