Research About Historical Change Of Equity And Efficiency Issue After Foundation Of People's Republic Of China

The relationship between economic equity and economic efficiency is an old and modern subject, which is called economic "Gold Bach guesses " in economic field. At the same time it is not only confined to economic field, it has also become a crisscrossing subject of politics, philosophy, ethics, society and so on. It is called "Stiffens Mystery" , too. The choice between equity and efficiency is the principle for all nations to make general and specifications. It is the factor reckoned with in the course of modernization, which is true especially for present China. Today China is at the moment of "Golden Development Period" and "Severe Contradictory Period" , so how to dominate the relationship between them in order to form modern Chinese equity and efficiency issue is more important.In recent twenty years, the sphere of learning in China holds different views about this problem. Although they have made great achievements, but there still are a lot of arguments and differences "Efficiency Coming First Theory" , "Equity Preferential Theory" and "Equity and Efficiency Alternating Theory" can only stand for a kind of theory. They don't take the whole situation into account and plan accordingly and they also ignore the national conditions of China. This thesis is to analyze different equity and efficiency issues in different periods after the foundation of People's Republic of China, their causes of formation and their rationalization from the view of history and logic on the basis of the former researches. According to this, the connotation of equity and efficiency will be defined again. The author intends to find out a suggestion to solve the unbalanced condition between equity and efficiency according to present China. Different historical periods call for different issues of equity and efficiency, which will never change. Today China is faced with the task of constructing comprehensive well-off society, so what we shall do is to unite the view of equity and efficiency into the reform of production relation under the premise of rationalization of productive forces and productive relation. Actually, according to the experiences of China and foreign countries and our present conditions, there is possibility to rationalize equity and efficiency.
