The International Examples For Regulation On National Consciousness

By analyzing the evolvement of the ethnic policy of Thailand in the 20th centrury and the evolvement of the identity consciousness of Chinese in Thailand,we try to probe into the view on one's own nation which is taken by the ethnic Chinese groups(or Hua Zu) in Thailand and the view on Chinese nation which is taken By native Thai and the view of nationalities taken by the government and academic circle of Thailand.We will observe the interactive relationship between the behavior of Thailand's government which plays the role of the regulator and the Chinese in Thailand who act as the object of behavior.We will also observe the interaction relationship between Hua Zu and Thai Zu. What's more,wr try to verify the theory of regulation on national Consciousness,constructioning a harmonious society is the goal which the every nation-state nowadays is advocating and striving for.However,the contradiction and conflict between the minority colony or ethnic group and the mainstream society become tit for tat,which holds up the development of the nation—states greatly.China is a multinational state and there're some minorities deriving from the foreign immigrant in the history such as the Jing Nnationality and the Russia Nationality.On the one hand,the analysis on the object lesson of Thailand's ethnic policy and the study of how Chinese getting along with the mainstream society of Thailand provide the academic circle a new way of consideration about nationality and nationalism which have puzzled us for a long time.On the other hand,such analysis and study provide valuable experience for the harmonious development between different nations and they conduce to construction of harmonious society of socialism.
