Research On The Influence Of Family Structure Transformation To Elder Security In China

China has already entered into the ageing country in 2000, which currently has the most old-age population in the world. The quantity of old-age population in China increases very fast, and the old people's scale is huge in future .The problem we meet first is the elder security problem. The family, as the most basic cell of the society in mankind, undertakes the basic function of elder security for long time. Progressing along with the development of the society economy, the significant descending of birth rate and death rate, the development of population ageing has turned worse, the family structure has changed seriously, the function of family care for the old has subjected great challenge, the problem of elder security turn to be gradually rigorous. Under the situation of serious population ageing, approaching the influence of family structure transformation for elder security and finding out the solution to elder security problems, is a necessary but urgent mission.The first part of this article (includes chapter 1 and chapter 2) interprets the basic theories background. First chapter 1, namely the introduction part, reviews and evaluates the relative researches in family structure and elder security, and puts forward the problem and meanings that this article will research ,and explains the research method in the article. Though analyzing the characteristics of family structure and the inter relationships of elder security and family structure ,Chapter 2 points out that family structure is close to elder security.The second part( includes chapter 3 to chapter 5) ,which is the core of this article, explains in details the influences of family structure transformation for elder security .chapter 3 analyzes the situation of family transformation from the aspects of family scale, family type, family generation relation and family type for old people, and carry on the forecast for the fluctuation of family structure in our country ,then points out how the family structure transformation challenges to the elder security.Basing on the forecast, chapter 4 and chapter 5 explore the influences of family structure transformation for elder security from crosswise and longitude. Crosswise is the different distribution of family structure, and longitude is the different periods. Finally, basing on the above analyses, the last chapter puts forward the conclusion and policy suggestion, pointing out that we should link family-plan with elder security to mitigate the pressure of elder security; we should set up multi-pillars elder security system, such as family care, social care and community care. According to different situations in family population, society and economy in different areas, different areas should carry out different elder security pillar. Moreover, we should stick rural elder security system together with urban elder security system, and effectively solve the increasingly serious elder security problem.This article mainly adopts the document review and the empirical analytic method in the research technique. At first, I use the document review method to comprehensively summarizes domestic and foreign research and theory about the family structure and elder security, thus understand the research tendency and not yet solved questions; In this foundation, through the empirical analytic method, I analyze and research the present situation of family structure transformation and elder security in China, and forecast its development tendency, then try to construct effective policy suggestion for elder security system.
