As the modernization goes deeper in China these days, the social issues about huge numbers of migrant labor forces has drew more and more attentions from scholars. Anthony Giddens has put that the influence of modernity is not limited in the public sphere, such as economy and politics. It also transforms the private territories dramatically. So this paper is focus on the private issues some migrant girls in Beijing confronted with. In this paper, the author first adopted the method of textual analysis to analyze the articles on intimate relationships in a semi-official magazine. And find out the ideas of modernity in private territories is what the magazine offered these migrant young women. Then, with the method of qualitative interview, I collected sixteen unmarried migrant young women's narrative about their understanding and imaginations of love. And the problems they had met with when they were trying to find themselves a possible spouse. At last, I agued that the government had made some effort to make migrant people believe the benefit of the modernization in private sphere. But in fact, the advices the mass media offered could not help those migrant young women solve their problems.
