Principle of trust protection is a basic principle in most civil law system countries thatfocuses on administrative objection person protection, administrative efficiency, pubic interestand justice. It embodies the basic principle of modern lega l justice, equality and huma n rights.On analyzing, the author insists that the principle of trust protection should be included as abasic principle of administrative law and puts forward some related issues.This thesis contains three parts. The ways of relia nceprotection contain the protection of existing rights and property. The applying rules of theprinciple of trust protection fall into the principle in concrete and abstract administrativeaction, and in some unusua l circumsta nces. The author also discusses the compensation issuein the principle of trust protection.
