According to the relative statues in and out the country, many couples get infertility. Some data indicate that one of ten couple get the disease. Even some data indicate the fact is one to five. The different time and sample may be the cause of the different result. But as a whole with the rising effect of environment pollution and the change of life style and the heavy pressure to the psychology of modern human being and etc, the rising incidence of the disease is inevitable. The coming of the technology of assistance reproduction technology brings new hope to the couples who get this disease. The method can realize many patients'dream which is to have their own children. The technology pay has contributed much to the stable of society and the happiness of the whole human being. But as one side of life science, the new technology is a two-edged weapon just like many other modern technology. It brings new hope and happiness to innumerable families for the one side, but for the other point it brings enormous influence to the view of social through the change of natural process of birth. The rapid development of the technology has given severe challenge to the life legal science and social ethics.The human race should know clearly of this two-edged weapon. They should make best use of its useful side and keep the side-effect of the method under control. In fact, every thing has two sides, it is totally possible that we can deal with them properly. We must try our best to look for the conflict between assisted reproductive technology and traditional ethics, and find out the balance between them, and make the method develop soundly and make it work for the human being through building up consummation law system and the rule of social ethics. It is also the difficult and important issue of life legal science.This essay aims to study the good and harmful side of the technology from the view of social ethics, and try to look for the appropriate law to control the technology.
