This paper analyzed law and sport experts'basic principles and attitude about the resolution of sport dispute in Canada, and studied the ADR mechanism and organizations for sport dispute. I attached importance to the introduction to Sport Resolution Center of Canada, because this is one of the world-leading, rare and special organizations which provide with ADR service for the resolution of sport dispute. It has sound organization, strict principles and high quality service. It offers four means for the resolution of sport dispute, they are mediation, arbitration, resolution facilitation and med/arb. The Canadian Sport Dispute Resolution Code has detailed stipulation about the procedures of above means. Especially, the resolution facilitation and med/arb are creative and effective for the sport dispute resolution. This paper introduced the procedures of each means.Canada, America and England belong to Anglo-American law system. They are similar in many aspects. The sport dispute resolution system in England and America are traditional to some extent, but the Canada's is creative and diversified. So it's meaningful to compare the sport dispute resolution system among these three countries. This paper analyzed the similarities and differences of this system among them. It can help us to know Canada's ADR mechanism of sport dispute deeply.At present the sport dispute resolution system in our country lack systematism and standardization. It can't adapt to the sport's fast development and the 2008 Olympic Games, and it is unable to connect with the international custom. Establishing the Sport Dispute Resolution Center of China will be the best solution for above problems. We must learn for Canada's sport dispute resolution mechanism, but we can't cut out or copy its mechanism simply. We can only establish scientific and suitable sport dispute resolution system after the right and thorough recognition of others.
