Nationalism View On The Problem Of Nationality In Yugoslavia

Abstract: Balkan Peninsula contains 10 countries: Turkey , Romania , Yugoslavia , Greece , Bulgaria , Croatia , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Albania , Macedonia etc. The history, nation structure and developing trend of the one country which has left deep traces on war history in morden times will be the emphasis of the essay. The "Yugoslavia" (or "front Yugoslavia ") mentioned in the essay is refered to the range covered by Yugoslavia federation from 1945 to 1991. The civilization break is the underlying cultural origin that the Yugoslavia problem of nationality exists in long time. At the same time, the big countries of world and international Corp. set off from each's benefit and strategy intention and interfer perpendicularly. The "nation" is a concept belonging to politics. Nationalism has the typical functions of "double-edged sword " ,naturally nationalism has effect in both building and destroying the international order. Here, we firstly use the view of civilization joint to state the geographical feature , national history, and culture base on which the nationality problem came in being. Acturally this problem is the history problem from which many national conflicts in Yugoslavian origined. Since the Yugoslavia socialism federation republic is born after the Second World War, until each history period in the 1990s, it has been an attracting country all the time, but it has caught in the sequel and finally got into the abyss of national contradiction. Under the international background that the expanding of globalization in the external world are growing stronger, international problems of nationality are commonly existing and the features of problem of nationality are becoming more distinct,how the governments of all countries in the world establish national politics mechanism on getting rid of the national contradiction and conflict properly and defending legal rights and interests of every nation ,and keep the multinational countries community united , stable and prosperous are the crucial act to meet the fierce challenges at home and abroad;it is also the practical demand of the time.
