The Study On Chinese Agricultural Product Trade Under WTO

The main task of WTO Multilateral Trade Negotiation is to constitute the International trade laws and regulations, and to promote the development of the International trade liberalization. Among these ,agricultural product trade has always been the focus and difficulty. By Uruguay Round and Doha Round, the regulations about WTO agricultural product trade were constituted. As a large agricultural nation as well as WTO member nation, China must be restricted by the regulations about WTO Agricultural product trade. Chinese legal system in agricultural product trade is lagged , therefore, it is practical and theoretic to study the regulations about WTO agricultural product trade. Exploring the challenge and the opportunity which has brought the Chinese agricultural product trade while entering WTO, expediting the establishment of Chinese legal system; promoting the development of Chinese agricultural product trade, strengthening our international competition strength are all significant. This these aims to introduce the WTO agricultural product trade rules, the agricultural product trade policies, the laws and the regulations of some main developed counties', and the analyze the impact on Chinese agricultural product trade of entering WTO according to the development actuality of Chinese agricultural product trade. The thesis has pointed out that China must establish and consummate the legal system and the policies about the agricultural product trade . It proposed a series of countermeasures and suggestions on how to perfect our domestic agriculture support law system, the legal system of the agricultural product and trade market entry in order to strengthen the agricultural product market system law. The author also suggests to establish and consummate our country, to respond to the green barrier related legal system, the adjustment agriculture structure and the optimized resources disposition, together with the development of the superiority product, the WTO rule constructing and the agricultural product trade to manage the new system.
