Abstract: 1960s is a period of trouble in the USA's history , the Liberalism , Vietnam war , Civil Rights Movement are the souvenir in that age . Today , These Civil Rights Acts which worked out in 1960s still affect the life of Americans . In order to make us know the content of these Civil Rights Acts and the effect of these to the American society . the thesis study these Civil Rights Acts.This paper consists of three parts : the introduction , main parts and results . The main parts are divided into four chapters.The introduction indicates the background of the 1960s'Civil Rights Acts, as well as the abroad and domestic scholars'research.The first chapter indicates Aframerican general situation before 1960s. Aframerican is in society's bottom from the USA founded. But with the development of times, Aframerican shake off the constraint step by step. At 1960s , the Aframerican resist came to a climax. As result, these Civil Rights Acts were coming into being.The second chapter indicates legislation background of the 1960s'Civil Rights Acts. With the expanding of federation government's power, the translating of federation supreme court's attitude, the rising of the Civil Rights Movement, all that increasing the possibility of these Civil Rights Acts'making. As well as both Kennedy's legislation tactics of civil rights and Johnson's effort made this possibility change into reality.The third chapter indicates the main content of these Civil Rights Acts which made in 1960s. From Civil Rights Act of 1964 to Voting Rights Act of 1965, to Fair Housing Act of 1968, these Civil Rights Acts have made concrete regulation in forbidding racism and apartheid from any aspect.The fourth chapter indicates the influence of these Civil Rights Acts which made in 1960s. These Civil Rights Acts made the Aframerican extremely large liberation in the field of everywhere such as political economy, public affairs. As well as driven the Civil Rights Movement going a step further to develop and development of USA constitution.The results summarize the guidance and effect of these Civil Rights Acts as well as the hint for us.
