The villagers' committee election characteristic of direction, equality, non - discrimination and secret ballot, serving as an effective form by which the broad villagers exercise their democratic rights directly in accordance with the law, is a great innovation in the construction of rural democracy which has already become the most important event in the peasant's political life and profoundly influenced the political life of the whole countryside. The election, through arduous and circuitous paths for many years, has stepped into a standardized and legal road.The villagers' committee election of Anhui Province started and grew rapidly since "the Rules of Organization of Villagers' Committee of the People's Republic of China (tried) "was issued in 1988. There were a lot of successful experiences in the previous elections at expiration of office terms of Anhui province. However, there were also some profound problems which have retarded the progress of the rural democracy.according to the sixth villagers' committee election of Anhui province enquires into the electoral situation of some districts, villages and towns in Anhui province. This dissertation analyses the implementation of the electoral system of villagers' committee and the factors that influence the implementation of the electoral system.At last, this dissertation has a conclusion that the electoral system of Anhui province gets some effective results from the research on the laws and policies of villagers' election, operational details of electoral stages and participation of villagers. But there are also some problems. The causes are analyses from the economic and social factors that have influenced the implementation of electoral system. On the basis of the above analysis, this dissertation puts forward some suggestions in order to provide the grounds for Anhui province to improve the laws and policies of villagers'committee, thereby to promote the construction of rural democracy of Anhui province.This dissertation divides into four major parts:First chapter, the introduction. It briefly introduces the villagers committee election and villagers' autonomous relations, then put forward research main question and the research technique.Second chapter, specifically stated the Anhui Province sixth session of villagers committee elects the implementation and obtains result.Third chapter, point out problems and analyse causes Fourth chapter, proposed consummates countermeasure and suggestion which the villagers committee elects.
