This paper is focused on the character evidence rule of the accused. After defining the meaning of the character evidence, we have introduced the using situation in foreign countrys. Then analyse the mechanism behind this rule.Finally, we have carried on the exploration of our country.We hope that this study can play a role in guiding the construction of the character evidence rule.Then we can set up a comprehensive evidence system according to national conditions of our country.
