The Study On The Facilitator Of Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice is a new approach to deal with crime. After 30 years of development, more and more countries have been used these programs. In a restorative justice program, a neutral facilitator is very important. Due to the different practices of restorative justice programs, facilitators are not the same. In the localization of restorative justice in our country, it is difficult for us to choose probable facilitators.Because of above reasons, I choose the facilitator of restorative justice as special visual angle in my research. After a specific introduction of restorative justice, the author tries to explain the definition of the facilitator of restorative justice and its feature. I adopt a comparative-analysis method in the study of the restorative justice programs in different countries. Then I make a brief analysis on the practices of restorative justice in our country. At last, I point out that we should choose different social organizations as the facilitators in current restorative justice in our country, except the police, the public prosecutor and the judge.
