Research Of Problems And Strategies In Teen-agers' Outlook On Honor And Disgrace

As the hope of the country and the future of the nation, teen-agers should not only have a solid command of knowledge and skills, but also prepare themselves for serving the country and people. They should strength their realizations of the great responsibility they have for the country, meanwhile ,they have to cultivate good moral qualities .However ,because of the negative impacts of the market economy, some contradictions during the period of social transformation and the influences made by informationization and globlization, the young are meeting great challenges. As a result, some youngsters have no idea of politics, the religion or the relief. They cannot distinguish the right and the wrong , the good and the bad, and the beauty and the ugly. On March 4.in 2006, President Hu Jintao gave a speech on socialist concept of honor and disgrace. He grasped the essence of the ideological and ethical education of the young, which was the best contents of the ideological and ethical education, was the powerful weapon of resistance of bad behaviors was the important guarantee for teen-agers to grow up healthy and soundly, and was urge teen-agers to have high ideals, moral integrity, a good education and a strong sense of discipline. This paper is divided into four parts: the first part presents the problems, and states the meaning of the research, the general ideas of the research, and the deficiency existing in it; the second part explains the connotative meaning of the honor and disgrace, the outlook of honor and disgrace, and the socialist concept of honor and disgrace; in the third part, this paper tries to present the problems of the outlook of the youth, and to analyze the reasons from the moral education in school, the family education and the youth; in the last part, this paper tries to seek the solutions on the problems of teen-agers' concept on honor and disgrace, including to create a better social environment, to take advantage of the school education, to pay more attention on the family education and to raise the moral degree of taste by the young themselves.
