With the globalization of the world economic, the multiplicity of the world politics and the plurality of the world civilization, each country regard making a harmonious society as an important task to study. In new century Chinese Communist put forward Construction of the socialistic harmonious society in a creative way, arouse abroad attention of inside and outside. From the historic task of each phase Vietnam Communist has put forward in recent years and the current condition of the Vietnam society, we can see that in fact Vietnam is taking up with the native harmonious development all through after unification, arousing international attention. China is providing successful and valuable experience for Vietnam.The paper makes comparison and study on the path choices of modernization construction of China and Vietnam mostly from the background of constructing a harmonious society of the two parties, course, ideas and several specific initiatives,analyses their similarities and differences on the path exploration of constructing the harmonious society,points out that the two countries in economic, political, cultural, and social reform at all levels is undergoing the process form discord to harmony,sums up some common rules in constructing the harmonious society of all socialist countries,educes that each of the socialist countries should construct the harmonious society from their own specific national conditions, have their own characteristics to explore the path of constructing a harmonious society.
