Contemporary international community has been characterized with anarchy, which results in the "security dilemma" among the cross-national relations. Although " Security dilemma" and relevant theories abstractly describes and theoretically intrepretes an certain state of relations among countries, as an common phenomenon, it is widely exist in practical international relations. The stagnation of Sino-Japanese relation is reflecting effects of security dilemma to some extent. The Taiwan issue, East Sea issue, History issue, etc constantly challenages the nevers of both countries and their people in Sino-Japanese relations, however, the security dilemma which hides behind the relations between the two countries was the very reason that leads to the fragile bilateral relations and frequent conflicts between their interests. Based on relevant international relations theory, this article will discuss and model of "security dilemma" .analyse the reason and status quo of the security dilemma between Sino-Japanese relations from theoretical perspective, then put forward the policy suggestions on making efforts to find common ground for mutual benefit, strength related communication and cooperation to better the bilateral relations to ease the security dilemma hence to improve the relations between China and Japan.
