Research On Index Of Local Government Of Performance Assessment Based On Public Satisfaction

The history of government performance assessment(GPA)in China is not long,and is quite rough.Although this kind of "rough assessment" has several advantages,many problems still exist,such as the singleness of methodology,the unilateralism of emphasis,system and direction of the assessment.Public satisfaction is of great importance in GPA.It directly reflects the effect of the governmental service.Thus it's reasonable and necessary to add index of public satisfaction into the assessment system.In this thesis,based on the survey carried out at Country P in Sichuan province,the primary problems of Chinese local government performance assessment are summarized.The model of public satisfaction guided GPA index system is proposed on the basis of relevant theory and methodology and advanced experiences from western countries,which could lead local government's working in the right direction according to the real time marketing condition and servicing the public in a proper way.
