Research Of Peasants' Political Participation From The Perspective Of New Socialist County Construction

Chinese political development is affected and stipulated by the extent of peasants'political participation and it is the yardstick of weighing the development of democracy in grass-roots units.It is not too much to without peasants'wide participation, the political development of the whole nation would not make substantial improvements.The principal part in building the new socialist countryside is the peasant and the peasants'political participation is of great significance for the construction of new countryside. Under the new context of constructing the new socialist countryside,this article is to study peasants'political participation, explore its existing and potential value, analyze the problems of peasants'political participation and then try to find a way for peasants to participate in politics, which is more suitable for our nation'situation and more effective.The first part defines peasants'political participation and other terms concerned, making foundation and prerequisite for the study.The second part expatiates from the perspective of value function on the positive role the peasants'political participation play in the material civilization, spiritual civilization and political civilization of the construction of the new socialist countryside.The third part analyzes by experimental studies the manner and characteristics of peasants'political participation in the construction of the new socialist countryside.From the angle of combining reality and theory, the fourth part analyzes the challenges the peasants'political participation faces in the construction of the new socialist countryside.Aiming at the current problems concerning peasants'political participation and combining with the reasons that cause them, the fifth part puts forward some solutions to advance the peasants'political participation in order to promote smoothly the construction of the new socialist countryside.
