| The spirit of Jinggangshan is a strong ideological and political education weapon forging by our party in the revolutionary years. In the new historical period of developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, study on the contemporary educational value of Jinggangshan spirit has an important realistic significance.In this paper, based on the scientific explanation of the content of Jinggangshan spirit and combined with the new historical mission in the new historical period we are faced, the author makes a new exploration and interpretation of the contemporary educational value of Jinggangshan spirit and points out the important time significance of realizing the contemporary educational value of the spirit. The most creative researching achievement of this paper reflected on the exploration of the new routes of realizing the contemporary educational value of Jinggangshan spirit. Author of this paper starts from the education of socialist honor and disgrace and the construction of a socialist harmonious society, points out that the education of socialist honor and disgrace is an effective carrier to achieve the value of Jinggangshan spirit and the construction of a harmonious society is a favorable opportunity to achieve the value of Jinggangshan spirit. The author believes that the education of the socialist honor and disgrace serves a new era bridge and road for the realization of the contemporary educational value of Jinggangshan spirit, the construction of socialist harmonious society provides a good social environment and great practice base for it. A paper according to the aboved research results- "The New Route of Realizing the Educational Value of Jinggangshan Spirit In the New Age" has been published in the "Journal of Nanchang University," Humanities and Social Sciences Edition 2007, No.4. Finally the author shows her unique views on how to innovate the education concepts and contents to realize the educational value of Jinggangshan spirit.
