Wage priority is a kind of security interests according directly to the law. Although wage priority system may conflict with basic principals of civil law, it expresses the idea of pursuing real equality and justice of modern civil law. Wage priority can be divided into two types. One is common wage priority, and the other is special wage priority. These two kinds of wage priorities have some differences in the field of discharging order. The existing basis of wage priority should be the fact that the employees have worked for the employers. Wage priority has nothing to do with the character of the units, the industries and the fact that whether the employees have concluded a labor contract. In order to control the risk within a foreseeable range and keep an interest balance, the wage should be defined by type, amount and time limit in the wage priority system. The discharging order among wage priority and other rights is an important content of this system. The effect of wage priority should be promoted, and it should be discharged before other security interest. As a system concerning the employees' survival interests, the wage priority system has been set up in legislation in many countries by now. However, our country has not established a complete wage priority system. At the same time, there are still many deficiencies in the supporting system of wage priority.
