Research On E-commerce Project Management

E-commerce has experienced a series of ups and downs. While we are immersed in the great charm generated by such new network economic pattern, we have come to realize that the implementation of the e-commerce projects has put excessive emphasis on research and application of information technology instead of on the scientific management. As a result, there appear many problems with the project management. Based on the experiences drawn from the practice in the project management, the paper mainly studies on the modern e-commerce project management system with the comprehensive methods of systems engineering, management science and the project management.Such innovative work as follows has been done in this paper:First, expounded on its backgrounds. The paper tells the difference between the e-business project management and the traditional project management. And on the basis of the importance of studying the e-business project management, the paper introduces the main content and the research purpose.Second, the e-business project management and operation system are constructed with project concept stage, the project planning stage, project implementation phase and the project completion phase with the systems engineering theory and analysis methods.Third, creatively the thesis of modern project management evaluation of the feasibility study was introduced to the electronic commerce project feasibility study. In detail, the paper describes how to study the electronic commerce project feasibility with the conception of the investment rate of return and payback period, additional investment payback period and the rate of increase in investment income, Multi-objective criteria, the boundary value evaluation and value analysis.Fourth, the method of work breakdown structure is transplanted to the e-commerce management so that it is easier to identify the project areas. And to the exploratory, the critical path method is tried for e-commerce project schedule.Fifth, the quantitative analysis on the e-commerce project progress is made with the integral method. And the paper explains in detail the integral method on the base of a case of software project.
