With the development of the juvenile criminal justice system, educating and saving become the policy when dealing with these cases, and looking into every side becomes the principle. So it is necessary to probe into the character evidence in order to improve the juvenile criminal justice system in our country.The application of character evidence in the stage of indicting mainly refers to the practice of the suspended indictment in juvenile criminal cases. We expound some suitable suggestions on character evidence using in juvenile criminal cases by means of comparing the legislation and practice of character evidence in other countries and districts. In addition, we assayed the legal basis and significance of character evidence in the suspended indictment system about juvenile criminal.There is not any rule of the suspended verdict on juvenile criminal in our country so far, thus it is so important to research on the values and queries of the character evidence in the suspended verdict on juvenile criminal. In the end of this part ,there is a conclusion as follows: character evidence is one of basis in juvenile criminal cases and it should be cited into evaluating the crime.We should exert the special regulation of discretion of punishment to the juvenile youngster because of their peculiarity in the body and soul. In reference to the convention and other countries'stipulation, and in combination of the practical condition of the juvenile criminal justice in our country, we probe the question on the application of the character evidence in the stage of the discretion of punishment in juvenile criminal cases. Restore justice has very important value to the juvenile criminal justice system in our country. In this part, we research on the feasibility and barrier of character evidence if restore justice is exerted to our juvenile criminal justice system. Some suggestions are given in the end, which is about the constitution of the restore justice on the juvenile youngster and the procedure of the application of character evidence.
