| Hexagram sung is one of the topics which cannot be avoided by contemporary law field in studying Chinese traditional procedural law culture and the Chinese legal thought history, especially in studying the legal thought of non-litigation. However, few persons know that the real meanings of the hexagram Sung has been misunderstood for more than thousands of years at the specific historical and cultural context in ancient China, furthermore, the nightmare of the misunderstanding is going on nowadays. As we all know,the specific historical and cultural context has gone away currently , but the gulf between the classical Chinese and the vernacular Chinese, the sense of distance in Zhouyi under the mysterious veil, the profound influence in current yi-ology from official yi-ology in ancient China, some viewpoints on Sung which seem right and held by a mount of famous experts, lots of roughly-made books'spreading in all the cheap markets misleading the people, and the traditional consecutive ideas kept by people's ideology ,etc. all above lead the real meaning of hexagram Sung to a wrong way .Obviously ,the fact has no benefit to understand and study Chinese traditional legal culture , and the misunderstanding or misleading can result in some kinds of terrible conclusions in academic research. On this account, the author is trying to take a radical reform on Sung with his humble opinion to provide another perspective in further studying traditional legal culture on non-litigation.
