The core issue of the modern government management is the improvement of the administrative efficiency which is also the pursuing important objective and principle of the current administrative reform .Through the administrative efficiency supervision.the local authorities can monitor the government staff to promote the exercise of administrative power in accordance with the law, and in a clean, efficient, impartial and fair way, and also can improve administrative efficiency, improve the style of administration by law and to ensure that government decrees to establish a just and transparent and clean and efficient administrative system, to realize double targets of limited government and effective government. We have gained some effects in administrative efficiency supervision and accumulated some experience in different areas of China, but generally speaking, because of the incomplete work mechanism, there are still many problems in the administrative efficiency supervision and they have affected the further development of the efficiency supervision and the full play of the functions. According to our national conditions and local real situation, in order to strengthen and improve the working mechanism of efficiency supervision, we can adopt the following ways. One is to reinforce the establish of the organization; the second is to perfect the mechanism of procedure norm ; the third is to innovate the way and manner of administrative efficiency supervision; the forth is to strenghen the supervisoin mechanism of administrative efficiency supervisiov; the fifth is to promote the construction of performance evaluation svstem.;the last is to perfect the investigation of administrative responsibility system.
