The unswerving path of peaceful development are strategic choice which is made by Chinese people and government based on trend of the times and the fundamental interests of their own. The goal of China is to safeguard theworld peace to develop themselves,and to maintain the world peace through self-development.China has always opposed all kinds of hegemony and power politics,and China has always been a staunch force to safeguard the peace of the region and world.For many years,China has always carried out the diplomatic policy which builds a good relationship and partnership with our neighbors. China reinforces the good-neighbourliness and friendl- -iness with neighboring countries and deals with concrete matters relating to working together.Because of history and real cause,the relationship between China and periphery are really not to go off smoothly. The border problems that history leave over to us have not been solved effectively.Recently China and neighboring countries take issue with about territorial sovereignty to become increasingly fierce . In 1990's early,after disintegtation of Soviet Union. Since Great Power being equal with it falls from the sky, it has no competitor in European , so USA becomes the unique superpower in the world.However,the fact that Chinese politic is stable and economy develops rapidly causes concern among USA.In additon,USA always treats China as the latent competitor and strategy enemy, so Chinese periphery circumstances becomes more complicated for USA's attention of military affairs strategy swifting from Europe to Asia.How to adjust the relationship with neighboring countries refers to whether Chinese benefit comes true or not .The article select good-neighbourliness diplomatic thoughts of Deng Xiaoping as my research problem, to analyse background of times,real basis,theory origin of good- neighbourliness diplomatic thoughts of Deng Xiaoping.It expounds principles and traits, analysing relavant practical significance of good-neighbourliness diplomatic thoughts of Deng Xiaoping.Five parts spread out to be discussed in the article.The first part mainly introduce the forming process of good-neighbourliness and appeasing country diplomatic thoughts of Deng Xiaoping.First,on the basis of showing the concept and developing of times subject,it discribes background of times systematically.
