This research makes an assessment of the Foreign Policy making process with special reference to the Look East Policy that was put forward following the attempt by Zimbabwe political leadership to cut ties with western countries and escape sanctions. Research aims to analyze the Look East Policy and its impact on Zimbabwe's business, population, labor and government. As we see over the last half a decade no Sub-Saharan African subject has been widely discussed as Zimbabwe's socio political and economic situation. This paper will look at the historical background of Sino-Zimbabwe bilateral relations, the socio-economic and political dimensions of the Look East Policy, learning outcomes, and benefits, how to make the policy even stronger, and weaknesses and finally look at the future of the policy then conclusion.
