The Changes Of Chinese Social Values Since The Reforms And Open Policy

Since the reforms and open policy was implemented 30 years ago, it shows increasingly diversity from forms of organization, means of employment, interests and modes of distribution with the development of socialist market economy and the renovation of socio-economic system and socio-economic composition. Under the international background of the world multi-polar and economic globalization continuing, various ideologies and cultures are intertwined, surging against each other. The tremendous changes have occurred in social economy,politics,culture and society, which will inevitably lead to the changes of values in the cultural core level. Nowadays, culture is becoming an important source of the cohesion and creativity of one nation, becoming an important factor in competition of overall national strength. It is become the major issue to be treated seriously in contemporary China in building socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, developing advanced socialist culture, setting a socialist nuclear value system. By means of analyzing changes of social values and the reasons, combining the new period of social values, this article tries to make a useful exploration of constructing socialist nuclear value system and how to use the socialist nuclear value system to lead the social trends of thought.This paper consists of four parts:The first part describes the basic concept of values, and furthermore expounding on the logic of social values and the socialist nuclear values.The second part mainly analyze the changes and differences of Chinese economy, society and social values since the reforms and open policy.The third part mainly analyzes the reasons for the changes of Chinese social values from three aspects.The fourth part, theoretically this essay try to put forward way and method that how to build a socialist core value system by analyzing the orientation of social values in new era.
