Research On The Cost Control Of Electronic Government

As the development of electronic government, the cost of e- government have received more attention. In this paper,the Research on cost-control of e-government is from two aspects which is the construction process and performance assessment. Firstly ,This article analyses the components of e-government and its source,and then analyses the motivation and principle of cost control according to China's development of e-government,and mentions the corresponding control strategy of cost from three periods as below:the prior of matter,the progress of matter and the later period of matter;secondly,Cost is closely associated with effectiveness ,and The performance evaluation of e-government is the embodiment of relations between cost and effectiveness of e- government,for that ,this article elaborates e- government performance evaluation system,and analyses the issue of cost control in the performance evaluation of e-government.According to this article,I hope the Chinese Government pay more attention to the input and output of e- government and achieve the target of low cost and high benefit.
