Commentary On Lihao's Ideology Of Evidence

Pro.Li Hao is a scholar who researched the burden of proof in civil procedure in earlier time in China. He advanced the double meaning of the burden of proof in civil procedure in the earliest time. He analyzed and demonstrated a series of problems which were related to burden of proof in civil procedure, such as the nature of burden of proof in civil procedure, function of burden of proof in civil procedure, the principle of distribution and the standard of proof in civil procedure. Li's theory of burden of proof in civil procedure was extremely important to both theoretical and practical circle under the background of that time.This thesis introduced and evaluated Li Hao's theory of burden of proof in civil procedure which was advanced by himself in 1990s, in order to build a platform for the summary of academic history of civil procedure, which will be surmounted by posterity. This thesis researched Li Hao and his theory, introduced the main contents of Li's theory, Li's research methods, and evaluated his academic contributions, and finally introduced the characteristics of Li's scholarship.
