| With the fast development of society and technology, disputes in modem litigation emerge with new elements intolerable for traditional litigations. While traditional civil procedures are mainly employed to adjust conflicts among individuals, the functionality of litigation have been greatly extended because of the emergence of new cases characterized by complicated stakes among a plurality of people or groups. The traditional linear bidirectional civil legal nexus has been dissolved, and a large amount of civil disputes involving extensive and non-specific subjects emerge prominently. However, within the current legal framework, the subjects involved in the civil juristic acts or facts have no rights of active intervention. This reality makes emergent the need to extend the subject scope in public interest litigation. |
