Study On The Relationship Between "Selected Works Of Mao Zedong" And Chinese Classical Literature

"Selected Works of Mao Zedong" is a summary on the experience of Chinese revolution practice, and is a precious spiritual wealth for both Chinese people and Chinese revolution. Chinese classical literature is a astonishing treasure of traditional culture left by ancient. Therefore, study on the relationship between them has important theoretical value and practical revelation.The purpose of this dissertation is to get a more in-depth understanding of the impact of Chinese classical literature on Mao's thinking and a better learning about the using methord of Chinese classical literature used by "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" by the means of classified statistics and analysis on both the using method and content of Chinese classical literature. Finally, the revealing of Chinese classical literature on modern times was elaborated.Both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods were taken by this research.Firstly, the qualitative analysis method was used, In the first place, the classical Chinese literature used in "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" was classifed by four classification categories, that is classic historical. Secondly, it was classifed by historical staging classification, that is pre-Qin, Han and Six Dynasties, Sui and Tang Song and Yuan, Ming and Qing. Thirdly, the content of classical Chinese literature was classifed by modern disciplines classification, that is political, military, philosophy and education. Finally, the classical Chinese literature used in "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" was classifed by according with the using method of traditional Chinese literature, that is facts and evidence, literary quotation, convert meaning, criticism and exertion. By using qualitative research methods, a clear understanding of the content of classical Chinese literature used by "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" was obtained.Furthermore, the amount of Chinese classical literatureand, quote and the proportion of the total number were summed by quantitative anlaysising on the classification methods described above.Innovation: firstly, the chinese literature used in "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" was censused and classified by combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Secondly, classical Chinese literature used by "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" was classified and analyzed by modern scientific categories, four categories, and historical periods, privding a new perspective and learning and using methods of classical Chinese literature.
