Research On Political Democracy-building Issues Since Reform And Opening Up

This paper introduces the meaning of political democracy, the origin of China's socialist democratic politics, the basic feature and the strategic position of democratic politics. This paper describes the achievements of democratic politics since reform and opening up, which including guiding ideology, strategic objectives, development path, strategic focus, inner-party democracy, etc. This paper analyses the basic experience of democratic politics in summary since reform and opening up, which mainly including proceeding from China's concrete national conditions, upholding economic development as the central task, combining the need to uphold the Party's leadership and to ensure that the people are the masters of the country, reforming and self-improving our socialist political structures, as well as adhere to learn from the results of political civilization of mankind. At last, this paper points out the current main problems of political democracy-building, and proposes measures to promote the building of democratic politics.
