Socialistic core values could gurantee the social and economic system, political system and cultural system's stability and development. It makes people come back to reality, and lets them have practical target, spirit of democracy and freedom, open and tolerant mentality. Such values are good for the healthy growth of the middle school students. So to help students establish socialistic core values is necessary, and it is urgent. Doing research on socialistic core values from the angle of family education can make people see clearly how parents teach their children the socialistic core values in family education, and it also can provide scientific basis and evaluation index for socialistic core values of family education. Finally, the aim is to help adolescent establish socialistic core values.The main purpose of this research includes preparing questionnaire for socialistic core values of family education's assessment, doing the actual measurement, understanding the characteristic of socialistic core values of currently family education.This research puts forward the conception model of socialistic core values of family education based on literature analysis, interviews, expert evaluation. After analyzing pre-test questionnaire and investigating its reliability and validity, this research developes formal questionnaire for socialistic core values of family education. Furthermore, one thousand two hundred and sixty eight people who are parents of many middle school students are interviewees. The research verified the theoretical concept of socialistic core values of family education by factor analysis. Moreover, the characteristic of socialistic core values of family education are analyzed from the angle of social demography. The results showed that:(1) Both the reliability and validity of questionnaire reach the psychometric requirement. It can be used as an effective tool to measure socialistic core values of family education.(2) Questionnaire can be divided into three sub-volume questionnaire:political values in family education, social values in family education, competition values in family education. Political values in family education constitutes of "serving the people" and "' the three represents' the important thoughts". Social values in family education constitutes of "a harmonious society", "sustainable development", "Love China", "spiritual civilization". Competition values in family education constitutes of "reform and opening policy" and "innovation", "hard work" and "progress with times".(3) The effects to socialistic core values of family education by gender displays in:The score results is here:Junior 1 is first, Senior 1 is good, then is Junior 2, Senior 2 is last. The differences between Junior 1 and Senior 1 are not significant, but the other grades also reached significant level.(4) The effects to socialistic core values of family education by gender displays in:The socialistic core values of family education influence displays in:There are significant differences between "' the three represents' the important thoughts", "innovation", "hard work" and "spiritual civilization". When parents teach their children to implement those factors, "different gender, different way". Only political values in family education reached significant level from the score of questionnaire.(5) The effects to socialistic core values of family education by family residence displays in: Family residence play an unimportant role in the socialistic core values of family education. But in the "hard work" dimension, the influence from big to small:rural is first, then town, city is last. It shows that differences are significant.(6) The effects to socialistic core values of family education by parent-child relationships displays in:very close, close, rusty and unfamiliar. Among them, the differences between rusty and unfamiliar are not significant, the others also reached significant level.(7) From the total questionnaire, the sub-volume questionnaire and specific factors, it showed that:for middle school students, in socialistic core values of family education, the differences between whether one-child family or not, family status and parents' education level are not significant.
