Performance Managent and Organizational Citizenship Behavior are the Research fields which the foreign scholars have been paying close attention to extensively in recent years and have already caused the Chinese scholars'research interests.Performance Managment is an important component as well as the core of Human Resource Mangment system witch can measure the organizational performance status and forecast the development prospects of organizations. The key of an effective Performance Management system is to determinet the performance indicators and criterias. The most fundamental basis of determineting the performance indicators are the definition of the content for performance. The performance structure " result+act" is increasingly being recognized and adopted by organizations. Organizational Citizenship Behavior as a part of the organizational performance has long been valued by western scholars. Currently, competition becomes fierce. Organizations tend to more and more flatter and the responsibilities of staff are also tend to more and more wide. Organizational Citizenship Behavior not only can serve as the the "lubricant" between organization employees to reduct the working friction, but also can make up the vacuum in the duties during the organization transformation. The influences that Organizational Citizenship Behavior makes on individual performance and organizational performance have already caused the Chinese scholars'research interests. How to stimulate and guide the Organizational Citizenship Behavior scientifically and effectively has become the focus of attention in today's organizations. Inevitably, in the Performance Management process, how to assess and motivate Organizational Citizenship Behavior effectively also has become an important aspect of Performance Management. In China, the introduction of Organizational Citizenship Behavior research is late than overseas, and the Performance Management system is still far away with the scientific and perfect level. Therefore, there is a long way to go for the organizations in China which want to assess the Organizational Citizenship Behavior more scientificly during the process of Performance Management. On the basis of the analysis of the relevant concepts, theories of Performance Management and Organizational Citizenship Behavior and their current situation at home and abroad, this research explores the relations between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Performance Management. Also, Based on the discussion of the former parts, this research analyzes the actuality of Performance Management in China, then its' limitations and some causes are found out. According to the theories, the major idea and general frame of Performance Management on Organizational Citizenship Behavior is so put forward. I hope that this study on the issue can play a reference role for the organizations in china on the work that how to guide and motivate the organizational citizenship behaviors during the process of performance management.
