From time immemorial, Mongolia nationality has greatly valued the protection of ecoenvironment very much, which is fully embodied in grassland ecosystem protection law in ancient Mongolia. The contents of the law mainly include pasturing animals in different places according to different seasons, forbiding grassland fire and the breakage of grass field, forbiding to pollute water resources, protecting forest resources, seasonal hunting, protecting wildlife etc..These laws efficiently protected the grassland ecoenvironment and made people and nature harmonious.,accumulated abundant of experience for social ecoenvironment protection and left us many precious wealths that were worth drawing lessons from.This passage mainly studies the tradition, development and concrete contents of ancient Mongolia ecosystem protection laws and its ecosystem law view, also expounds its realistic value.These laws were rich in contents, concrete in clauses, easy to operate, discriminating in its rewards and punishments (Punishment is severe,rewards reasonable).Because the nomadic society enforced these laws strictly, the protection of grassland ecoenvironment became Moral values that the whole people observed.For that reason, they effectively prevented breakage for grassland ecoenvironment from nomadic life but, more important,they avoided the difficulty of ecosystem reconstruction. This had an positive effect to the protection of ecoenvironment in West Development Project of Inner Mongolia, we should well draw these excellent national civilized achievement, apply to today's practice, carry out the conversion of legislation value, make ecosystem basis law view ingrained in Mongolia nationality regions.
