Since the lawyer system was resumed and perfected, over the 30 years the criminal lawyers' practising context has been improved greatly. For example, the criminal lawyers' legal status has been acknowledged, and their litigious rights have been perfected gradually, and their social status has been heightened. But under the influences of the legal factors,history and culture factors and conscious factors, the criminal lawyers' professionalism has not been recognised radically, and their practising rights have not been protected effectually. So the criminal lawyers' practising context is still not very optimistic. In accordance with this situation, I think:Firstly, we should continue to perfect our laws, and build more scientific and more workable institutional rules to protect lawyers' rights. And more than this, we should still perfect litigation techniques to make our laws fairer and more workable; Secondly, we should continue to deepen the judicial reforms, and implement the "Exclusiveness of the Bill of Prosecution", and perfect the institution of hearing lawyers' opinions so as to ensure procedural fairness and lawyers' right of full participation; Thirdly, we should help to improve lawyers'social status by means of improving their political status and enhancing a legal community and carrying out the media and publicity work actively.
