Firstly, the article discusses the condition of Deng Xiaoping Thought of productivity, including the background of the times, theoretical origins, historical basis and the basis in reality of Deng Xiaoping Theory. Under the international background with the theme of the times of peace and development, Deng Xiaoping Theory which combines the basic principles of Marxism with the concrete practice in China gradually takes shape and develops, bases on the correct understanding of China's national conditions and the serious summary of historical experience in socialism construction. It's an inevitable historical development of society.Secondly, the paper analyzes the main content of Deng Xiaoping Thought of productivity. The substance of Deng Xiaoping Thought of productivity is very rich, generally speaking, mainly include the following thoughts: the development of productive forces is the fundamental task of socialism, the standard of productivity is the essential standard to judge the success or failure of all the work, reform is the strong driving force for developing the productive forces. Opening up is the necessary condition for the development of productive force and science and technology is the first power.Finally, the paper also briefly summarizes the significance of Deng Xiaoping Thought of productivity, including theoretical and practical significance. The productivity of Deng Xiaoping Thought abandons the fantasy of traditional theory of socialism and expands Marxism with groundbreaking development. Not only does the Thought have great significance on the reform of China's current ownership structure but also become the theoretical basis of implementing the strategy that science education will prosper the country.
