The democratization wave since late 20th century hasn't stopped and has spread to the 21st century. A lot of countries, especially underdevelopment regions are carrying on democratization unremittingly. In 2008, two underdevelopt countries——Bhutan and Nepal, almost at the same time completed the transition from monarchy to democratic regims. As to the social economic development and the political system before their transitions, the two countries were quite similar, while as to the transition patterns, they were totally different. The pattern of Bhutan's transition was called"transformation", and Nepal's was"replacement"or"transplacement".
