A Comparative Study Of Ideological And Theoretical Building Between Kuomintang And The Communist Of China

After 20 years of repeated fighting between CPC(Communist Party of China) and KMT(Kuomintang Party) , and finally KMT lost , the strength and position of these two opposing parties radically changed, KMT's status from big to small, from strong to weak, and finally lost the status of administrative party. CPC's from small to big, from weak to strong, and became the administrative party. The political situation changed so fast that no one had expected. Such ups and downs of history happened, why, it is worth thinking.I choose the comparative research on the two parties'ideological and theoretical building in the period of Democratic Revolution as the title, select two parties's ideological and theoretical building as the starting point, by comparing the two parties'similarities and differences in ideological and theoretical building, I analyze respective reasons why KMT failed and CPC won the victory, and briefly show the historical enlightenment from this result.The first chapter is the theory origin and factual basis of two parties'ideological and theoretical building. Ideological and theoretical building between the two parties have the same theory origin from Soviet Union, followed the way in which Communist party of Soviet Union was established, based on traditional Chinese culture. But there are differences, KMT administration in nanjing respected fascism, the ideological and theoretical building inevitably had elements of fascism, and CPC based on advanced scientific theory -Marxism as the basis for building the party. The ideological and theoretical building is the fundamental element of party's building, The contradication between structure of Party members and nature of the party should be well solved.To overcome the errors of left-leaning and New Democratic Revolution is the factual basis of CPC's ideological and theoretical building.Chapter two is research on the ideological and theoretical building for KMT. After the Nanjing National Government established, in order to control the thinking of party members and citizens, to build a dominant ideology which centers on the Three People's Principles, KMT had taken various measures to strengthen study ,research, propaganda and education of the Three Principles. In order to attack scientific socialism, suppress other forces against Chiang and maintain its orthodox position, KMT revised the Three People's Principles, making it with the features of Confucianism, ethics, and fascism.Chapter III is the research on the ideological and theoretical building for CPC. Ideological building as the core of party's building, developing the party mainly from the ideological aspect is one feature in CPC's party building. Therefore, CPC began rectification of actions and other ideological and theoretical building, strengthened study, propaganda and education of Marxism.Combining Marxism with Chinese revolution practices, CPC formed Chinese Marxism—Mao theory, which shows us the theoretical feature of Marxism keeping breast of times Chapter four is the comparative analysis between KMT's and CPC's ideological and theoretical building. This chapter introduces the similarities of KMT's and CPC's ideological and theoretical building: Both parties paid great attention to ideological and theoretical building; both attach importance to the Three People's Principles and try to make people belive that they are the true practitioner of the Three People's Principles; both established specific organizations and system; both paid great attention to ideological functions; both strengthened ideological and theoretical building in the process of political mobilization. It analyzes the diffrerences between KMT and CPC in ideological and theoretical building: difference in the feature of ideological and theoretical building and attention; the content of ideological and theoretical building; way and method of working in ideological and theoretical building; the actual effects of ideological and theoretical building.Chapter V is the historical enlightenment of comparative research on KMT's and CPC's ideological and theoretical building in the period of Democratic Revolution, which is the goal of this essay. In terms of maintaining national sovereignty and territory integrity, ensuring human rights, improving people's lives, CPC is the ture successor and practitioner of the Three People's Principles.
